Prateek Sharma

A car enthusiast from childhood Pratik Sharma studied product designing from Singapore with the intention of designing cars. But today one designs cars on a computer, nor do we have the hot rod culture in India where we build cars out of old, original parts in a garage. Being born to artist parents Charan and Nimish Sharma, he made this decision of what he was going to do about creating cars ? Just Paint them ! Thus began the journey of creating ?Carscapes?, a term coined by Pratik, a la landscapes. Drawing with pen and ink, he concentrates on the frontal features of the car and the relational dynamics between them to give it a certain ?face?. Unique and contemporary, these paintings are a complete must have for discerning car buffs and hot rod fanatics.
